Mochi is a traditional cake made from a special Japanese. According to Japanese legend, Mochi cakes symbolises luck and prosperity. In the middle of the day, Mochi cakes are often used during family reunions, holidays or sent as a good luck gift. To this day, Mochi cakes are sold and eaten throughout the year.
